WHAT IS MICRO-NEEDLING ?

Microneedling is one of the most popular and effective skin care procedures to facilitate an increase in collagen production to increase the formation of new tissue by activating the skin’s healing ability. This technique has been used for years and has shown amazing results. With the Microneedling skin care treatment hundreds of microscopic wounds are purposely created in the dermis.

This trauma is caused and in return growth factors are released that promote woven collagen rather than scar
collagen. Collagen synthesis is stimulated by the stem cells resulting in an improved skin tone and texture, a reduction in fine lines and provides for any topical application to be absorbed effectively.

What to expect with my Micro Needling treatment?

WHAT TO EXPECT WITH MY MICRO-NEEDLING TREATMENT

The procedure takes about 30 – 60min depending on the size of the area treated.

Are receives a double cleansed followed by a numbing cream.
A Microneedling pen with very thin sterile needles are used together with gliding serum to protect the skin from friction and abrasion during the procedure. Treatment products are also used to provide a profound amount of anti-ageing and healing.

For the first day or two skin may feel slightly red or inflamed, like a sunburn, but correct after care makes more tolerable.

WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?

An immediate glow to the skin is visible, but continued skin improvement develops over the course of days.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE NEEDED ?

Recommendations will be made by our professional therapist. However, it is recommended that clients receives 2-3 treatments over a spaced out period of about 8 weeks. Advanced acne scarring, pigmentation, wrinkles, and stretch marks may need more treatments dependent on the severity of the condition.
