From humble beginnings to endless opportunities!

Welcome to the glowing new Beauty Loves Me blog!

It’s been a crazy journey of non-stop work to get to the point we’re at today, and now I’m finally getting into calmer waters and doing what I love doing most, wellness treatments. The Beauty Loves Me name was conceived several months ago but its story goes back a lot further back.

Where it all began

Many years ago, I joined an affiliate skin care range company on a part time basis for some extra cash. Little did I know then that I would discover my passion for promoting natural beauty and this made selling the products easy and enjoyable. I even managed to reach team leader status for the region whilst holding on to my corporate job.

In 2018, I was diagnosed with an auto-immune disease which affected my skin among other things and its effects were very bad. This negatively influenced my self-confidence, ability to sleep and all these affected my appearance. I was devastated and the worst of it all is that not many people understood what I was going through.

I am a mother of four and never had a problem with getting back to my normal weight, fitting into clothes etc. I had confidence in how I looked and when I stepped into any room. My world seemed to feel like it was crashing down on me as my health deteriorated when I had to stop working and it left me feeling hopeless.

That brought me to where I am today, regaining my composure, confidence, with a compassion to make a difference in other’s lives. It was a most humbling experience and one I accepted with gratitude.

Creating something different

When I recovered, I told my husband that I do not want to feel hopeless ever again, and that we should start something to help others overcome their insecurities or challenges especially starting with how they feel about themselves. I have the deepest gratitude to Mario Vee for his continuous encouragement over the years to use my voice to help others despite how I looked and felt then. Settling on a beauty and wellness business was a no brainer for me. It presented me with the opportunity to meet new people, and a means to sustain myself, my family and give back by assisting others. I want to be part of my clients' skin journey to gain confidence, look and feel their best and to make healthier life decisions.

We started by doing in-depth research, formulated a concept that we can build on into the future, and we invested in state-of-the art equipment and medical grade cosmeceutical products to be able to offer the best in our treatment rooms. It is a different world compared to corporate SA but helping others so much and seeing the positive outcome it has, I can truly say that this is my dream job.

But I also want to bring something extra to the table, not just give treatments and add no value to my clients because ‘Beauty Loves Me’ is about every client; young and matured, male and female. Helping each person feel comfortable in their own skin and realizing that beauty is not just skin deep. It is about the service, the experience, support, and an educational journey that we will embark on together, to build a relationship of mutual trust.

Today and the future

Fast forward to today, and we’ve ironed out our processes and systems. We have the nicest customers ever (hi customers! We love you!), and we have a million ideas of things we want to do with you and for our community. Here are just a few of the things we have planned:
